U-M Could Have A New And Improved Two Headed Monster And QB Next Season
Submitted by Wes Sims on Fri, 11/28/2008 - 17:46Coming off the worst season in their storied history, the Wolverines football program finds them selves in a very unfamiliar position. While head coach Rich Rodriguez has taken the majority of the heat for this past season, a fair amount of heat has been directed at the play the quarterbacks.
The play was split between Freshman Steven Threet and Sophomore Nick Sheridan and neither man’s play separated themselves as the true number one guy or as the guy to lead this team in the 2009 season. In addition, back ups Freshman Justin Feagin and Sophomore David Cone didn’t impress enough to be considered the front runner heading into next season.
Will I Enjoy My Thanksgiving?

That’s the question that I ask myself every year.
This game means more to me than anything else. I know that you won’t believe me, but Michigan could lose every game and beat Ohio State, and I will be filled with extreme pleasure. In fact, going undefeated and losing to “THEM” ruins the season for me.
Funny How Things Change
Submitted by Marc Whitman on Fri, 11/14/2008 - 14:39As we approach another Michigan-Northwestern game, there are several things that come to mind.
Northwestern has always been the private school whose players are more likely to become doctors and lawyers after graduating, than playing in the NFL. As a result, and due to academic requirements, Northwestern has had to become very innovative offensively in order to compete in the Big Ten. During the late 80s, when Randy Walker was head coach, the spread offensive was taken to new heights. Caution was thrown to the wind and the point was to score at will, in order to make up for a rather soft defense.
Now Michigan has left the conservative Lloyd era and has adopted the same offense as their opponent. Michigan is now on a tremendous learning curve, and has yet to develop the consistence it needs to win a Big Ten championship.
