The Al Glick Field House, which is named after U-M alum Al Glick for his huge donation toward the building, is the new University of Michigan Indoor Practice Facility for Intercollegiate Football. The construction should be completed sometime this August. The state of the art facility is located on none other than, State Street. Wolverines head coach Rich Rodriguez is very appreciative of Glick and his family’s efforts; “"The support he has provided this football program has been amazing. My staff and I feel privileged that this year's team will be the first to practice in the Al Glick Field House,” said Rodriguez. Glick, along with his son, Randy, nephews Barry and Carl, and other family members donated $8.7. million to this project.

Defensive lineman and highly touted recruit Will Campbell will have a lot of eyes on him this season. This is what Rodriguez had to say about Campbell on National Signing Day. No pressure, heh?
"I think a lot of people had picked him as a top player in the state. He's a big guy and can play on either side of the ball. He's going to be playing defensive line for us. He's filling the need for us as an explosive young man. He's a local guy. He's been here several times. He loves football, and he's a lot of fun to be around. It's going to be an important spring for him. He's going to be a guy that gets an opportunity to play right away because of need and his ability.
"Will Campbell from down the road at Cass Tech, who was coached by Thomas Wilcher, who does an outstanding job. We have several guys, as you know from his team, either on the team, like Boubacar (Cissoko), or joining with him with Teric Jones and Thomas Gordon."
