The Top Ten of the Big Ten

With most of the Big Ten teams near the halfway point of the season, I thought it would be interesting to rank the top ten players in the Big Ten right now so without further of due, let’s get started.

 
Coming in at number ten, Illinois forward Mike Davis. At 6’ 10 and 210 lbs, Davis grabbed a season high 13 rebounds in a win over Kent State. Through 15 games this season, Davis is averaging almost 12 points to go along with over seven rebounds and almost two assists a game.
 
At number nine, 6’ and 180 pound Michigan State guard Kalin Lucas. Lucas had a season high 24 points in a win against Minnesota. Through 14 games, Lucas is averaging 13 points a game along with almost two rebounds and over six assists per outing.
 
Purdue guard E’Twaun Moore is number eight on the list. Moore, who stands 6’4 weighs in at 188 lbs, grabbed a season high eight rebounds in a win over Coppin State. Through 15 games, Moore is averaging 15 points a game to go along with 3 assists and over 4 rebounds per game.
 
Coming in at number seven is Northwestern forward Kevin Coble. Coble, who scored a season high 25 points in a win over DePaul, measures in at am impressive 6 ‘8 and 210 lbs. Through 12 games, Coble is averaging over 14 points, almost 6 boards and over 2 assists per outing.
 
At number six, Purdue forward Robbie Hummel. Hummel, who stands at 6’ 8 and weighs in at 212 lbs, grabbed a season high 14 boards in a win over Davidson. Through 13 games, Hummel is averaging 14 points a game to go along with over two assists and eight rebounds.
 
Michigan State forward Raymar Morgan is number five on the list. The 6’8, 225 stud scored a season high 29 points in a win over Oklahoma State. Through 14 games, Morgan is averaging 15 points a game along with almost two assists and seven rebounds.
 
Coming in at number four is Michigan forward DeShawn Sims. Sims, who grabbed a season high 20 boards in a win over Florida Gulf Coast, measures in at 6’8 and 235 lbs. Through 14 games, Sims is averaging over 16 points per game to go along with 9 rebounds and an assist per outing.
 
At number three, 6 ‘7, 205 pound Ohio State forward Evan Turner. Turner scored a season high 28 points in a win over Notre Dame. Through 13 games, Turner is putting up 16 points a game along with over seven rebounds and over two assists.
 
Penn State guard Talor Battle is number two on the list. Battle, who measures in a 5’ 11 and only 165 lbs, tied a season high with nine assists in a win over Purdue. Through 15 games, Battle is averaging 19 points, five assists and six boards per outing.
 
Last but no least, number one on the list is Michigan guard Manny Harris. Harris measures in at 6’ 5, 185 lbs. and grabbed a season high 16 rebounds in a win over North Carolina Central. Through 14 games this season, Harris is averaging 19 points a game along with over seven boards and five assists per outing.
